We had a wonderful time touring the House of Miles. We also had an exciting and an informative exchange about Mr. Miles Davis and his many accomplishments with Ms. Lauren and Mr. Gary. The tour that we got from Ms. Lauren and Mr. Gary was absolutely great. I myself felt like I was Mr. Miles Davis’s brother during our informative exchange about Mr. Miles Davis. My last name is Davis but we are not related. The arrangement of the exhibit collectibles memorabilia are wonderfully placed. We saw during the tour much displayed literature written about Mr. Miles Davis. I knew about THE music and I have much of it but I have never seen books about Mr. Miles Davis in Book Stores. We were shown Mr. Miles Davis practice room where he practice when he was younger. Step inside and speak and notice the acoustics of your voice in that room. A Jazz lover must see. TO: Ms. Lauren and Mr. Gary, I hope much success of your planned endeavor of The House of Miles.

Wow...what an amazing experience! Today we took a group of 40 to the Museum and from the moment we stepped off the bus we were transported into the world of Miles Davis. Our tour started outside with a 5 minute presentation. Once we stepped in the museum we were greeted with jazz 🎷 music playing softly and beautiful cases filled with memorabilia everywhere. What a wonderful experience!!! I'll be back

I had the joy of visiting House of Miles this spring, and I learned so much. There is clearly a lot of love and dedication put into everything involved in this museum. It was a beautiful experience to visit and meet the amazing people behind making this happen. So grateful for this experience, and I recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This morning, Carol and I visited the House of Miles East St. Louis.  It is the childhood home of Jazz great Miles Davis.  It has been rescued and restored and now houses an excellent museum and STEAM educational programs for local kids.  The tour was given by co-founders Lauren Parks and Jas Pearson.  The have great visions for the development of the surround property and they are deeply invested in the East St. Louis community. Lots of memorabilia - albums, books, photos and a rug from Mile's NYC apartment. I stood in a small area where Miles use to practice trumpet in his teen years!

The House of Miles East St. Louis is a must visit when visiting the St. Louis area. Just minutes from Downtown St. Louis, the renovation and history spotlighting Miles Davis’ life will inspire any music lover. Leaders of HOME, Lauren and Gary ooze with passion for the city, the music, the history, community giving, love and of course Miles Davis. We brought our homeschool co-op with kids from 6-18. The parents and kids alike thoroughly enjoyed Lauren’s presentation of Miles’ life and history of the house. Upstairs in the home are instruments. The kids came to life when they realized they could play on them!

HOME has a variety of programs that engage the community’s kiddos. From beekeeping to STEAM programs, HOME is doing incredible work!

I wish I could give 10 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
